Directions
Method 1: Cucumber Wraps

1.Using a mandoline, slice the cucumber lengthwise into thin strips.

2.Lay 2–3 cucumber strips overlapping in a staggered (stepped) pattern to create a wider surface.

3.Layer smoked lox pastrami evenly across the cucumber strips.

4.Spread or pipe a thin layer of cream cheese on top of the pastrami.

5.Cut grape tomatoes into quarters or small sections.

6.Slice avocado into thin wedges.

7.Place the grape tomato pieces, avocado slices, and a small spring of dill at one end of the cucumber strips.

8.Starting from the filled end, tightly roll the cucumber into a wrap.

9.Cut the wrap in half at a slight angle for presentation.

10.Plate and serve.
Method 2: Cucumber Canapés (Simplified Assembly)

11.Slice the cucumber into disks approximately ¾ inch thick.

12.Place a small ball or quenelle of cream cheese on top of each cucumber disk.

13.Wrap a slice of smoked lox pastrami around the cream cheese.

14.Cut grape tomatoes into quarters or small wedges.

15.Slice avocado into thin wedges.

16.Insert a grape tomato piece, avocado slice, and a sprig of dill into the center of the pastrami-wrapped cream cheese.

17.Adjust the garnish for a clean presentation.
