What does Mercury Safe mean?
We submit samples of every lot we harvest for lab testing and only verifiably clean seafood with quantifiably less than 0.1 PPM of Mercury on the Certificate of Analysis receive the Seatopia brand of approval.
Explain Micro Plastics Free?
We also submit samples from every farm to be tested for microplastics. Concentration of microplastics in all measured size ranges were below the Limit of Quantitation (LOQ), which is 0.0094 particles per gram. This essentially means that no microplastics were detected in Seatopia samples tested. In simpler terms, this is a good result suggesting that it is free from measurable microplastics, according to the sensitivity of the test performed. This should provide some reassurance about the quality and safety of the Seatopia products in relation to microplastic contamination. Enjoy your meal knowing that this specific concern has been thoroughly checked!
Is my seafood delivered fresh or frozen?
Your seafood will be super-frozen with liquid nitrogen at peak freshness to lock in its flavor, nutrients and texture until you're ready to enjoy it. Unlike seafood at the grocery store that can be sitting out for unknown lengths of time or thawed on arrival - gradually degrading in quality and flavor until it’s purchased.
Do I have to be home for delivery?
Your fish arrives frozen in an eco-friendly, insulated box with the perfect amount of dry ice to keep your seafood frozen until the end of your scheduled delivery day.
