At Seatopia, we search for the world's best and most sustainable seafood —a regenerative approach to nourishing people while restoring ocean ecosystems.

What we find is that those who farm the water with care and respect for their environment rear incredibly healthy and delicious seafood.

The practice of rearing aquatic life goes back thousands of years and our farmers continue this tradition with greatest care for both the quality of your seafood and the impact they have on our waters.

Half the world's seafood comes from farms - only a fraction of a fraction meets the Seatopia Standard.

We all know seafood is a super food - so why do doctors say pregnant women should avoid it? Because sadly our oceans are polluted and we never know if wild caught fish is full of plastic and heavy metals until it is too late.

This is why we work with farms that control and document their water quality constantly, and also why we lab test all our seafood. It is the only way to guarantee clean and healthy nutrition from the ocean.

What is the Seatopia Standard?

Special seafood - from special people

Our farmers are pioneers. They show us what the future of food can look like—where aquaculture works in harmony with nature, delivers clean and nourishing seafood, and respects every part of the ocean food web.

We work actively with all our farmers to continuously guarantee our highest standards and keep improving ever further.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What is aquaculture, according to Seatopia?

At Seatopia, we define aquaculture as the intentional cultivation of aquatic life in harmony with nature—a regenerative approach to nourishing people while restoring ocean ecosystems.

It’s not just farming fish. It’s stewarding ecosystems, respecting animal welfare, and empowering communities through transparent, ethical, and science-backed practices.

We champion aquaculture that:

  • Requires no wild fish in feed
  • Uses climate-smart, circular nutrition
  • Improves water quality and biodiversity
  • Respects animal sentience and the marine environment
  • Embeds equity and sustainability into every link of the supply chain

This is aquaculture reimagined for a thriving planet—and it’s the future we’re scaling with every harvest.
