Free From Detectable Microplastics

Our third-party lab partners use validated spectroscopic techniques to screen for microplastic particles down to a quantitation limit of 0.009 particles per gram.

Only products with non-detectable levels above this strict threshold meet the Seatopia Standard.

Mercury Safe

We regularly test samples from every farm partner for mercury content. We partner with ISO-17025 accredited labs like Light Labs to analyze seafood samples down to parts-per-billion precision using industry-standard methods like ICP-MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry) and Cold Vapor Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy.

A sample from every farm is screened to confirm it meets the Seatopia Standard: less than 0.1 ppm mercury—well below FDA limits and far safer than most wild seafood. This means you can enjoy clean, nutrient-rich seafood without worrying about mercury buildup over time.
