I love salmon but have questioned where can I find healthy sustained salmon that is without mercury and gmo's. You can't find it at grocery stores or restaurants. I have finally found the company that I'm looking for where I know I'm eating the healthiest salmon. My health is #1. Love Seatopia!! Plus they schedule a call with you to discuss your experience. I received my Salmon Lovers box and was expecting 12 pieces of salmon. I was surprised when I found my box contained 9 pieces of salmon and 3 pieces of trout. I assumed it was an honest mistake so I contacted Seatopia. Their response was that my order was correct because trout is in the salmon family.
If that's so, I feel the salmon lovers box description was misrepresented. I don't plan on doing any more business with Seatopia. Great concept and story, but I won't be ordering anything more from them.
In curating our Salmon Lovers Box, we consciously chose to showcase the diversity and richness of the salmonid family, which encompasses both salmon and its close relatives, including the Steelhead Trout. Notably, the Steelhead Trout in your box comes from one of our favorite farms, known for their exceptional practices and the premium quality of their fish. This variety, raised in saltwater, shares many of the culinary qualities of salmon—flavor, texture, and nutritional value—making it virtually indistinguishable from more commonly recognized salmon species in culinary applications.
We've received feedback from many customers who were initially apprehensive to try the Steelhead Trout in their box. However, it's been heartening to hear that for many, this introduction has led to a new favorite. The inclusion of Steelhead Trout is not about substituting for a less expensive alternative; rather, it's about introducing our customers to a premium product that aligns with our commitment to sustainability and offers a delightful culinary experience.
