Branzino, also known as European Seabass (Dicentrarchus labrax), is a superstar in the world of white fish. Branzino's mild and delicate flavor make it a fantastic choice for those who are new to cooking fish. With a firm yet tender texture, its meaty flakes hold up well in various cooking methods. Branzino can be adapted to different cuisines and prepared in many ways, making it a favorite among chefs and home cooks alike.
How to defrost: remove fish from the packaging the night before. Defrost in the refrigerator overnight, wrapped loosely in a paper towel, on a plate or wire rack. This helps wick moisture and preserves freshness.
For a classic cooking technique, defrost and pat dry. Dust the flesh side with a light sprinkle of salt. Sear skin side down in a medium hot pan until a golden crust starts to form and the skin releases from the pan. Turn down the heat and baste with 2 tablespoons of grass fed butter, garlic and thyme. Finish cooking to desired doneness. A squeeze of fresh lemon, capers and chopped parsley to garnish makes for an easy weeknight source of Omega 3. Or try a classic white wine and butter sauce. Add fine chopped parsley and a heaping scoop of Seatopia salmon roe for extra decadence.

We Plant Kelp With Every Order
We believe that a healthier ocean for future generations only happens if we do our part. Restoring kelp forests plays a vital role in healing our blue planet by supporting habitat restoration, sequestering carbon, producing oxygen, cycling nutrients, and reducing the effects of ocean acidification.
We want to thank our community for supporting kelp reforestation. Together we are helping to heal our oceans—one kelp tree at a time.

Seatopia taught me how to pan sear using parchment paper and this Branzino has THE PERFECT skin to crisp up and enjoy. I pair it with Haven's Kitchen Golden Tumeric for a quick healthy treat 🙌🏾

It’s a wonderful option when I have eaten red fish consistently like the different variety of salmon. I simply bake/roast it in a low temp oven. However you do you, please try this fish . It will always be on the menu in my home. Thank you Seatopia for doing what you do for humanity and Gaia.
These branzino filets are ultra high quality and elevate any meal. I love cooking them the traditional way. Even my husband who does not love seafood loved the branzino. I make sure to order 4 filets each time.
